Made it to the track today. Shakedown pass of 12.85 and a thorough ck. over. 5 subsequent passes got me to the 12.52 best. Followed it up with a 12.53 and then turned Mr. Frosty on. 75 shot got me the 11.97 and 'bout blew the hood off. That nixed the plans for the 125 shot and ended the day. Good thing bottle pressure was down to 600. Otherwise the hood may have been history. All in all a very successful day. Busted one shock playing, gotta add 2 hood pins and change the pinion angle and go racing. First big race next week!

Been a while since I updated. Figured I'd post the best time slips anyway. Something to show for all that work anyway. Notice the 12.39 at 100 mph. Hard on the brakes trying to avoid a breakout. Would've been a 12.32!
7/16/05- Got the unpredictable out of it. Used a resistor in the air temp and coolant temp. Set the air temp at 57 degs and the coolant at 160. Consistent 12.4's and 5's in the Florida heat. Not bad, eh? Actually can go rounds now.....

Friend of mine asked me to help him pull the motor out of an old Chevy 'cause he had the body sold. I said alright and Sunday (1/9/05) we drove to go haul it back to Gainesville. We got there, I saw what it was and asked if any money had exchanged hands. Nope. Sold! I'll post more later.
