Project 327/Powerglide
Shooting for 11.50's
10.0's w/200 shot

Well, project 327 lasted 12 passes before dropping a valve. We weren't thinking about the cyl. heads that had been on 3 previous motors. Valve just flat broke. Got an 11.78 best with a 11.12 on a 150 shot. Oh well. 383 getting built now.

383 got built. Went a 10.18 at almost 132 mph.
Then swallowed a carburetor stud while moving it around the shop.

Dry nitrous set-up on the CPI V-6.
The 1/8" copper tube is silver soldered to the fuel pressure regulator. It then goes into a 3/16" steel line. I drilled a hole through the lower intake and exited the steel line there. I then hooked the line from the nitrous regulator to that. You can shim adjust the N.O.S. regulator to adjust fuel pressure. My fuel pressure goes to 80-84 with the nitrous triggered at a 125 shot.

Thanks for the reply about the Comp springs you used that required no machining. Do you have a part number for the comp cams springs you used?

Thanks,
Todd
