After owing various MGs Austin Healeys and a 1967 Super Sport Chevelle I sought a car that had the attributes of both, the handing of an English sport car and the power of an American muscle car. Hence a warmed-over 1979 Z-28 that has good looks to boot.

MISSION STATEMENT: To boost the handing and performance one step beyond factory design and return the appearance to a like new condition

LATE 2006 UPDATE: New wheels steels wheels from last year had to go. New wheels are alum. "HOT WHEELS-SIXTY EIGHT" style.

2005-2006 Update: After taking some trophies at local car shows and attending the GM Nationals this past June (while participating in a SCCA driving school) at Carlisle. I realized the Z could not safely be push to its full potential on public streets. Joining NASA (National Auto Sport Association) I plan on participating in open track day at Summit Point starting on spring 2006.

I saw one of these elusive c-150 camaros in the junkyard. I'd never heard of one before so I went online to see what I could find and this was one of 2 sites where they were mentioned. I noticed the one in your photos had MD tags and the one in the junkyard I saw was in DE. Im thinking they were probably some sort of dealer installed package. As far as it having something special under the hood..not so much, try a 3.8 v6. It looked like the extent of the mods was vinyl tape. I am interested to know more about this car as well. Nice Z28 by the way. I think I saw it at the car show at adams chevrolet a year or two ago.

THERE WERE ONLY 50 OF THE C150 MADE IT IS A RARE BREED OF THE CAMARO LINE THERE WAS SOMETHING CHANGED SOMEWHERE UNDER THE HOOD IN THE CREATION OF THE C150 THAT SET THEM APART FROM ITS COUNTERPART TO THE Z28. I HAVE ONE JUST LIKE IT
