Giawa's 1987 Chevrolet SpectrumHeya. Basically I took an old Chevy Spectrum that wasn't running (timing belt broke) and fixed 'er up to her current condition. Now she runs great and I have made some modifications to make her look better and sound better. This page mostly shows my installation of a 15" JBL Sub and a 300 watt JBL Amp. I also built a custom platform and am currently waiting on carpet to be shipped in so it can be apolstered. Two Sony Xplod 160 Watt 6" by 9" Speakers are also going in the back as well.

Here you can see the neon lights that are going to light up the trunk. They don't look like much during the daylight, but at night time they are pretty effective. I think I might have to buy two more though, to cover up some dark patches...Giawa's 1987 Chevrolet SpectrumGiawa's 1987 Chevrolet Spectrum
So apolstering was the hardest thing to do by far. I think it turned out really awesome though. Just got to fix up a bit of my wiring, and the neons still have to be screwed in. This project is now complete except for the tweeters that I'm planning on pickin up soon. I've pretty much dumped the Sony Xplod idea for the time being because I have no more money :-( This project cost 1300 dollars in total, that would be Canadian funds. For all you american people thats like 700 or 800 bucks I think. To have that platform custom built it would have cost 500 dollars. I built it for 90 bucks. Haha! Here's the final pic.
