Page 5: Interior/Exterior
Interior
The entire interior has been re-worked beginning early 2006 and has come to be the centerpiece of my project which now includes custom two-tone re-upholstered leather seats, leather covered door panals, and 5 inch tv monitors in the headrest.

Once I bought the seats and panels, I embarked on a huge and exspenive interior project. The next perchase ended up being some New Carpet from Auto Carpet Professionals. Here is my old carpet (Left) and the new carpet side by side.

Then I started to gut the insides of the alti.

And installed the new carpet. I had the driver's side door panel installed at the time to see how things would look.

Then I got the driver's seat in

After this, I started to paint all of the interior panels, including a-pillars, trims, upper and lower dash parts and center console. The paints were color matched Sherwin Williams Automotive Interior Paints to match the leather seats. Dont have any pics of the panels coming out and getting painted, that was rather uneventful and straight forward. But the dash was fairly interesting to photograph...

The upper dash was painted the tan/peanut butter type color as the seat leather trim.
This is the finished product as of April 06. Tan and white, with the gauge cluster and radio trims in the OEM gold color of the car.

The Steering wheel...I'm working on it. I dont think painting it will do the trick, so I'm looking into going aftermarket.

Added the Glow Shift Air/Fuel and Volt Gauges fall 06. They are tinted and change to 7 colors.
Looking to do the headliner and rear deck in white leather as well....
Exterior
The Exterior of the Altima has always lagged behind in the project. Mostly due to cost. Finally was able to purchase the Drift Body Kit from Ground Dynamics summer 06. Took a while to get fitted and painted, but its finally on. Very happy about this.

Clear Corner turn lights
Bought some tinted SE (red/white instead of red/yellow)tails from a guy in GA
and the wheels of course
More to come later.....
