The Turbo Altima Build-up

I've decided to move my turbo build to the front of my webpage. The Turbo essentially replaces and upgrades almost all of my previous modifications, thus moving all my previous mods to the bottom of this page and my next page.
Turbonetics Altima Turbo Kit

This was a complete stage 1 turbo kit for the 93 - 97 Altima. It has been assumed that the this kit will fit the 98-01 Altimas with minor adjustment. I purchased this turbo kit used from another Alti owner, which helped in the ease of install and technical verification. Lets look at the major players
T3/T04E Turbocharger, with Oil feed and return lines attached.

The Sidepipe and Custom 2.5 inch Downpipe

Turbonetics KA Turbo Manifold and Evolution Wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor Bypass Valve attached to the final cold pipe
Also include were the 370cc Injectors, Spearco W.A.V.E Intercooler, clamps, couplers and all that.
INSTALL
I did the install by myself over the course of about 2 or three nights of work at my garage. It was about 20 to 30 degrees outside and i had no heat in the garage, but this usually how i work. Dont have as many pics as I'd like but...
Fitting the manifold up and test fittings the intercooler piping at the throttle body side. Had to move my old intake and my fuse box on the side of the battery.

Turbo fit up with the side pipe
Downpipe
Back to the top, we got the 370cc 300ZX Fuel Injectors

That was after night one. Night two involved finishing up the IC piping, Getting the gauges hooked up, and working out the intake piping (hard to fit around the distributor and the brake booster)

Before I started it up, wrapped some vulnerable stuff in Aluminum foil. It was all I had. The i drove it down to the gas station.

My old bumper is on for the winter.
Bought a T3 Heat shield to cover the ugly turbine housing. Also some versa shield to replace the foil on the throttle cable and top radiator tube.

Prior to the turbo.......
Car was pretty plain

The KA24DE engine stock specs: 150 horses to the crank. 155 ft.lbs. torque. 2.4L 4 cyl. Reliable, Powerful, Torquey, and a fair amount of aftermarket support
OBX Catback Exhaust
The entire exhaust was modified, beginning with the Catback Exhaust by OBX. This was a excellent purchase and is holding up very well.

OBX Catback Exhaust
Installed the OBX Catback
Resonator...

Installed 2.25 inch Exhaust piping.

And the nice, deep sounding muffler.

Sent the valve cover out to get powder coated by TGR Coating in PA. LOOKS GREAT!!! Call it rice if you want, this cover is CLEAN! The powder coat is nice and even and I got it clear coated as well. Cleaning it is easy as cake. Check the picks of that and my complete engine bay.
Top it off with the Nismo oil and radiator caps

Now to Engine Block work and the new Drivetrain
