The first set of custom clear parking lamps for a box... it took me a few weeks, but I was able to get her finished. That's Ohio weather. I was able to find the parking lamps from Pete, thanks man, I had been looking for a set for the past year easy.

So here it is... fully documented. First set of BLACK clear parking lamps.

FEBRUARY 15, 2008

Got the parking lamps in the mail. As seen in the photos, the insides of the lamps needed repainted, all the silver was flaking off. I went ahead and disassembled them completely.

FEBRUARY 16, 2008

Started the repainting process. Used Rustoleum gloss black, then mock-fitted the lenses on before I polished them up.

Got the lamp bezels recoated with black, glued the lenses together, and fit them into the assembly!

These are also the bulbs I chose for the turn signals. Sylvania Silverstars.

FEBRUARY 23, 2008

Picked up a new set of low beams, one of the old one Sylvania Cool Blue's had quite a bit of condensation. Going with Sylvania Silverstars for the low beams instead, much brighter than the cool blues. They're one step below HID bulbs. You can see the color the bulb gives off where I zoomed in on it.

FEBRUARY 28, 2008

Before I went to install all the goods, I removed the high beams and repainted behind all the headlights. This was due to the fact that the bottom of the assembly on the Silverstars is clear. While I was at it, took close up pictures of the Cool Blues I have for the high beams. You can see the blue from the bulb reflecting off the back of the lens in the third picture.

Then shortly afterwards I got them all installed, no problems at all! I even replaced all of the old screws for the grille and bezels with new ones from Lowes while I was at it. Even the screws holding the parking lamps and side markers to the bezels have been replaced. And yes, the low beams will need re-aligned.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
