This is my 1968 dodge charger. I picked it up of a guy who lived 10 minutes away from me.The funny thing is, is that i have lived in this house my whole life and i was born and raised in this town and never have i driven down this alleyway and seen this beauty. My sons friend found it on his regular route to school. He told my son to go check it out and i thought he was lying when he told me his friend saw this car (for the reason is that my son always says there is a dodge charger somewhere and when we go to see if its true we always end up seeing a pinto) in this case he was not seeing things!!there was a 68 charger sitting in this carport in an alleyway. One afternoon the week after the sighting. Me and my 3 boys and one of their friends go over to the guys house and ask him the history and specs of the car. He tells us it has a 440 that was crated and sent to detroit and has high performance parts and it pumps out 560 horses!!!he also says that he got this car up to 180mph.He says back 5 years ago this was his baby.his whole life revolved around his car and he said he wouldnt let it go for under $10000.I thought and thought about this car till it drove me crazy!I had to have this car i kept saying to myself.One day after a while i phoned him up.....told him i wanted it.The deal was settled and i was a new owner of a hypo 68 charger!I have owned this beast for 3 months.
