DBR01's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Don't have any pics yet, because I just bought the car and haven't had it in my driveway for 2 consecutive days. She's a silver 1997 Eclipse GSX. It's been in and out of the body shop for the last 4 months. I guess the priar owner decided it would be cool to slide into a power line. It hit right on the passengerside rear hub. Basically, it threw the halfshafts and rear diff through the other side. So, As soon as I get her back I will begin transforming her into a beauty. So far I have an HKS Type-1 Timer, Act 2600lbs clutch, Tein SS Coilovers, Apexi WS Cat-back, J-spec cool air intake, Megan Racing Front & Rear Upper Strut bars, S2000 start button, and a VIS CF Extreme GT hood. They're all just waiting on the car. Sad isn't it?? check back soon...

Well it's official, I've got massive crankwalk....engine rebuild on the way...I'll take pics and post them up for you guys and gals

you should go to a wreckin yard and get a 1ST gen 4G63T the "6 bolt" it will support the most HP with stock internals suposidly it can handle 400 with the proper engine manage ment and turbo, how ever with a first gen wrecking yard motor it would need to be rebuilt so while your at it you should port the head and re grind your cams look around for prices you should be able to pull a motor rebuild it and port it with reginds for liss than 1000 and the motor with a good TD05H turbo "the stock 1st gen" it will push 20PSI you should get a wide band and super afc from apexi and a fuel regulator and a front mount ic and a hard pipe kit, now were up to around 2300 and close to 300 at the wheels that you could drive every day and on full boost should run close to 350 but your turbo will only boost 20 psi with an internal waist gate so their are 2 options going with an external waist gate and weilding your shut or getting a bigger turbo the cheapest option usually is the TD06H "20G" that will suport close to 450 at full boost and with all of this your less than 3500 into your engine and you could easily have 400hp if you need help finding parts i am a authorized dealer for most compaines so wb my email is robbob336@hotmail.com
