Hi Folks... Just bought my Ford Ranger Splash and need some Information... that's my second US-Car, the other one is a '89 Wrangler... For Jeeps there's a big community here in Germany, too, but only a few people seems to drive that Pickup-Model around here... and it's not as easy to get the parts and Information for...
So, maybe one of you can help ?
It's the '93 Splash with the 4-Cyl... and has 255/60 on 8x15" Chrom Rims...
The 4-Banger has a good MPG (and Gas-price is the same as in the US, BUT: we don't get a Gallon for it, Just a LITRE !)
Some new Goodies: I changed the Taillight for a pair of APC-Clear-Glas. I like them, AND they have yellow flashers (required in Germany by Law)
Which engine-parts will fit here, too ?
I bought a Jet-Chip and an Cold-Air-Intake-System. The Chip works fine, but there's some Work needed for the Air-Filter, because I need (?) to adapt the Vacuum-Air-Hoses from the original Filter.
Next questions would be, which Online-Shop is to recommend for Ranger-Parts ?
The one Idea still running thru my Head is a engine swap with a 5.0 Mustang... the parts are available from Advanced Adapters. But the more and more rising Gas-Prices will stop me from that...
