This is my 1989 Saab SPG that I bought June 16th 2004. Mileage is at just over 210,000 miles. It is going to go through a massive restoration process which will turn it into a very fast show car. I've been getting ideas and knowledge about what should be done, and have come to some exciting conclusions. Goto page three to see "The List". It has everything I want, and whats already been purchased. If you have suggestions of things I should add, e-mail them to me, I'm looking for unique ideas for everything. Goto page 4 to see progress pictures.

I noticed in your price list that a custom exhaust would cost $600-$1000. Just get under your car and see what bends you'll need to make an exhaust. then go to www.jcwhitney.com and order the bends you'll need. they're all mandrel bent, aluminized bends in 2-3" sizes. considering your performance goals, you'll prolly wanna go 3". Then go to www.summitracing.com and order a dynomax ultraflo bullett muffler (inexpensive and straight through) and high-flow 3" cat. once you get your parts, take them to a local exhaust shop and have them assemble it on your car. you should be done for around $200 and you'll have an EXCELLENT exhaust system.

good luck!

you can find whaletails on ebay sometimes. john at saab savior will definetly either sell you one or tell you where you can get one. don't pay more than 400 bucks for one tho.

I like what you've done with your 900! And your site looks great too. Five stars. What do you think of mine?
