My 2001 Miata LS was delivered with all the standard 2001 LS equipment plus:
- ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBFD)
- 6-speed manual transmission
- Suspension Package (includes: standard LS equipment plus stiffer springs, Bilstein dampers, larger rear sway bar)
- clutch shudder...not really an option, more like standard equipment ;)
Modifications and upgrades (not many):
- airbox replaced with K&N cone filter
- Racing Beat Duals
- 205/45/16 Toyo T1Rs
- "mild" street alignment
- Big Red Button
- Crazy Red Italian air horns
- high-flow grille (removed tie-down hooks)
- Mobil 1 10W30 in engine, Amsoil 75W90 in tranmission and differential
Planned upgrades:
- Tein SS coilovers (next summer...hopefully)
- alignment to Lanny Chamber's specs
- freshened brakes (next summer)
- FMI or II turbo system (maybe after college)
