Hello,
This page is dedicated to my 1988 S15 Jimmy that has ton's of mods done to it over the course of two years I have been working on it.I sold it last year a few weeks after I bought my corvette.
I sold this suv in it's finished state to an individual in Florida for $4000 cash........repeat $4000 cash.....so if it comes up for sale thats what was given for it.....$4000 cash If you have questions about this vehicle please foward them to the current owner in Florida, I do not own it anymore and I'm sure he would be as honest as possible, seemed like a nice guy.....but i don't have time to answer them.
He has it listed on mautified.com for $8500 Just search 1988 S15 Jimmy in Florida
This was orginally two-tone blue with white painted sides. It had a blue interior and a 2.8 fuel injected engine with a automatic tranny. I bought it from a bodyshop that threw a solid white "quickie" paint job on it.
Day it came home.....
I stripped all the moulding, roof rack, bumper off it and kept it like this for about a year.
Last october I took my truck to a local body shop that I WILL NOT RECEMMEND!! It was supposed to be a three month max paintjob, They were going to work on it a little at a time. It ended up being a six month long horrific ordeal trying to get those scumbags to work on it and get it finished. They kept taking work in while mine sat in a corner gathering dust, word to the wise..never pay 1/2 down on a paintjob because they have you "hooked" and makes it really hard to get your money back and find another shop that will pick up where the other shop left off.Anyway, around the first of April this year I got my ride back..less the tailgate...that took those A$$holes another month and is a totally different story. I had it painted GM Torch Red, including door jambs and in the engine compartment.
This is where I'm at right now. It has a steel rollpan, license box in the tailgate, SS Mirrors, 100% chrome grille, chrome bumper, clear markers, 17 x 8 eagle 212's and falken tires...all the window moulding, trim and glass is new.
I don't buy into having to have a bodydropped truck with shaved door handles and a wild paintjob to be in a magazine. I feel like I have built one of the cleanest Blazer's around. I didn't want something that had too many doo-dads on it.
