This is my 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX.

This is not a US spec WRX, nor is it the JDM Spec WRX. Its what they send to all the other world markets, (UK, NZ, Australia, Barbados etc) what they call the General Market.
I thought that this might make an interesting picture, its a reflection of the WRX in a street mirror.
Anyway, I took delivery of my WRX on the 7th of July, 2004.
In their first shipment of Impreza's to the Bahamas, TyreFlex Star Motors brought two WRX's.
The Bright Red Metallic WRX, and the WR Blue Mica. My Brother jumped at the blue WRX a little over a year ago.
Here are some pics of his WRX.

As you can see, the Blue is a tight colour. Its a colour that will automatically draw people's attention.
And even though I might not get the looks like his WRX, at least I don't have a door ding like he does. (at least not yet!)

Well I needed something practical, and that wasn't Dead as a Hammer.
So I called TyreFlex, and come to find out, they still had the Red one a year later.
So, after a brief bank visit (a loan approved in three days isn't too shabby) I was able to get it.
TyreFlex gave me a killer deal because of how long they had been sitting on it.
As you can see, the Engine Bay is very Stock, but that will change in the coming months.

My first mod will be the 'Snorkelectomy'. Which is the removal of the resonator box from the fender well intake tube.
Mod performed on July 20th. It has made the turbo a little louder, and you can hear some intake noise. Verdict on mod... I LIKE IT!
Cost of mod... FREE $$$
When I have some spare change, the first mods will be the essentials.
I will definitly need Tint for the windows, to try and combat the Heat (Summer is Hot as the Hinges of Hell here in Nassau).
And to upgrade the stereo to something with a little bit of a thump.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.
After I deal with those items, I will move into performance mods, starting with the exhaust. The good thing with the WRX is you can get exhaust parts in sections. I will probably start with some form of rear pipe, then change the midpipe to get a cat back exhaust(Borla or Prodrive).
The index at the top of the page will show you what is on the various pages.
So feel free to check them out.
