ncruzer's 1983 Pontiac Trans Am

I have owned this car since 1991 and it is still a work in progress....
Car: Originally 1983 T/A LG4
Engine:
350 roller block, Pro Topline "Pro Torker" cylinder heads
ZZ4 cam - .208/.221, Flat top pistons

Induction:
rebuilt/modified Electronic Q-jet, Edelbrock Perfromer intake manifold
Edelbrock air cleaner housing, K&N 14 x 3 inch filter

Exhaust:
SLP 1 3/4" Jet Hot coated headers w/air
SLP y-pipe, 3" catco catalytic converter, 3" Flowmaster Force II cat back to Dynomax Hemi Super Turbo #17749 muffler

PASSES NYC EMISSION LEGALLY

Suspension:
17" x 9.5" Epsilon Wheels w/Good Year run flats 245/45R17(front) and BF Goodrich g-Force KDW SSS 285/40R17 run flats(rear). Skulte 2" aluminum spacers on all four corners.
Tokico HP struts/shocks, Eibach Pro-Kit springs
Hotchkis Lower Control Arms, Hotchkis Panhard Bar
Energy Suspension bushings all around
Competition Engineering sub frame connectors (welded in)
GM "wonder bar"
Digital tire pressure/temperature monitor (lcd display)

Appearance:
In an early vision of making my TA look like a GTA clone as a result of a front fender bender destroying my Power Bulge hood, I added regular (non vent) fenders and flat hood before I painted her. However, I wish I hadn't since I now have a different vision and really, REALLY, want my Power Bulge hood again!
2001 Technologies Inc. digital dash gauges
1995 Trans Am gray seats
2000 Camaro black seatbelts
1997 Trans Am automatic center console (cupholders & shift indicator work)
Self painted metallic red in my one car garage
Black/grey cloth interior

Future (In order of priority)
Install 82-84 TA fender gfx, 91-92 Camaro rocker gfx, 85-90 TA quarter gfx - DONE
Paint bumpers & gfx - DONE
Install power side mirrors - DONE
Build radio console to house 7" lcd touchscreen to control car PC - DONE
Install full functioning computer for GPS navigation, diagnostics, mp3, DVD playback etc. - IN PROGRESS
Fix headlight motor problem - DONE

Finally decide on power bulge hood or fabricate functional shaker hood (a la 70-71 Trans Am)
Paint hood
Go to Englishtown NJ and get an official timeslip
