Just got myself a 89 240sx FB. I got it for a good price but it needs some work. From the pics you can pretty much see everything that needs to be done. On top of these I was told it needs a new exhaust.
I was offered the rest of the rims to complete the set. I actually might take the rest cause hell give them to me for a good price.
Obviously I need to get a hood for the car.
I also need to get a new front bumper, drivers side fender, and drivers side light. I was thinking of getting the 91-93 bumper but I saw a 89 with a Zenki lip and it looked awesome. So I think I might do that.
The engine bay looks to be quite clean. Too bad it got that SOHC in there. I so wouldve prefered a Ka24de but I cant complain for the price. The car is 2 out of 3 what I wanted. Its a Fastback and its stick.
The interior is in great shape. I was totally blown away by how clean it was in there for the age and the price. I mentioned the price a few times so Ill tell how much. I paid $300 for the car and $250 for the tow back to the house. the car has 143,000 miles on it. There also is no rust on the car at all. Ill take pics of that also. The wheel wells, undercarriage, and hatch are totally clean. Another nice perk is that the car has Tein springs already on it and was told KYB shocks. I still have to check the shocks, but the springs are Tein. All in all it seems like its a good deal. I also have a 1990 4dr Civic that I have been doing some work to. Ill post those also.
