Here is where the story began...

THE BEGINNING

About five years ago the car that you see now does not even look like the same car

Accross from our chruch is where she sat in the weeds no one wanted her and with the 2.5 litre ready to kick a rod it needed a new home, so with the battery being completely dead there was only one thing to do jump start the car with our black plymouth (see bottom)

once running we knew we had to get the car home which was just right around the block. we spent hours trying to see what was causeing the knocking later we found out it needed a new engine.

2 weeks later we had this k-car running now it was time for the interior for being a smoker car the interior needed to be all taken out at shampooed anti freeze was in the carpet and just ruined so we went to the junk yard and pulled the carpet from a 1987 dodge aries coupe LE. and the rear bumper from a 1988 plymouth reliant LE, next new tires were needed so we bought some white walls for the car, then about a year later new paint on the roof was need my dad and i matched it perfectly.

Put all of this togeather and what do i get a prize winning show car.

down the road i will have all the nics and dings taken out and have it repainted again.

that was the story of how this car came to be

2002 Abandoned
2003 parked for winter
2004 new paint on roof
2005 Normal
2006 whole detail
2007 MOPAR SHOW 1st place

2008 Mopar show 2nd place

2008 All mopar Event 3rd place

Ive invested over 2,000 in parts and junk yard stuff

Hell all i need now is a glass showroom LOL

Enjoy

next years show should be interesting... when i get back from the army im taking my opld girl into V&H and having them do a custom paint job...its going to be black on top...the same color it already is , then theres a 2-4 inch stipe thats going to be charcoal grey with red pinstripping around itr....and on the bottom im going to have it fade to a mettalic black for that mirrored look... hopefully my bottom chrome kickplates can be redone too.

Awesome. K cars saved dodge in the 80's, maybe they will have to make a comeback.

Justin...I am so totally impressed that someone as young as you, and Guy (CKCC), have such a sense of history about these great cars. Your Aries is extremely nice and you've put in the time, the effort and love to make it that way. I have been a K-Car fan from the day they came out, and it's heart warming to see other owners who genuinely care! "Keep up the great work!" Chief
