My boot install
This is the very basic audio install in my car. The installation was done by Technik Car Audio in Willeton, Perth, Australia. All credits for the installation goes to Darren and Michael. Thanks guys for the awesome install!
Equipments include:
-Alpine CDA-9815
-Dynaudio 240GT split
-a/d/s/ R12s sub
-Helix/Brax HXA500 5 channel amplifier (4 channels to run the dyn full active and 1 channel to run the a/d/s/ sub)
-No rear speakers was used in this install, mainly because of the small cabin size.
The splits are installed in the factory location in the doors which is deadened using dynamat extreme. The same deadener is also used in the boot. Everything else is installed as shown in the pictures.
Most recent install update:
-Red perspex floor
-Cover for the floor install
-Ported the sub box
-Modify the dynaudio's standard passive to allow them to be bi-amped (need to do this because the amp is not bridgable)
Next upgrade plan (if money become available, which is pretty scarce atm :P) includes:
-Clarion HX-D2 head unit
-Replace the current dynaudio md100 tweeters to either morel supremos or dynaudio esotars
