PutterMcGavin's 1989 BMW 5-Series

PutterMcGavin's 1989 BMW 5-Series

***Car is For Sale!!***
I hate to part with it but I have gotten another car and this one must go. Price is $4,200 obo. The car is in Chapel Hill, NC. Email jamesrp@email.unc.edu, or james.pittman@skanskausa.com or call James at (919) 260-1240 for questions.

This CirrusBlue '89 E34 5-series has definately been fun to play with. To date I've put a great deal into this car, as well as countless hours working on this German masterpiece...and its all been well worth it. If you have any suggestions than please sign my gustbook and tell me what you think...and as always there is much more to come.

Clean shot of the unique Lip Spoiler introduced at the Automekanica Show in Germany. Gives the car a sporty "track" look. Custom chrome "BMW" on front bumper, and clear corners also clean up the front. Grill has also been painted to match the car.

E34's have always had really clean lines. I've blacked-out the chrome trim aroudn the door similar to that done on the M5's, "BMW Motorsport" Decals on the rear window, and I've had the whole lower portion of the car painted to match the body.

Chrome License Plated fram with etched "E34" into it. BMW fans will get it...

Clean factory rims with only slight rash but clean up VERY well as seen.

Interior
The interior is dark blue. The interior is leather and is in good condition for its age without any major rips or tears. The dash is in great condition without any fading or cracking. I've used Armor All on the whole interior and have used Maguire's leather conditioning. All windows, locks, sunroof, and every other component works.

i have an 89 525i, recently i bought a rockford fostgate cd player for it, when i connected the speaker wires from the car to the deck nothing happens, i was told at the store that im going to have to rewire the whole system because BMW has a factory amp. U have any idea how to do that? or any way to get around it? cuz i dont. Im not willing to spend 100 dollars on istallation niether.
