mustangz1984's 1984 Ford GT This is my first car ever, im only 16 years old and i wanna make this car something special. When i get a job im going to start rebuilding and upgrading this car. By the time im done it should be a road worthy machine. If you have any idea's or online websites to buy 1984 mustang parts, id appreciate it if you sign my guestbook and tell me what they are. ANY ADVICE IS GOOD!

Thanks!

Well to update some stuff that ive done to it, but havnt yet got the pictures up. I spent my last paycheck on repairing the engine and spicing it up a bit with chrome. Tore out most of the old interior and put new black interior carpet and got replacement seats to match the back seats and rest of the interior. Right now im working on buying new guages and some electronic stuff and T-Top seals and weatherstriping but that is cost-ly ;(. Gtg -Aaron

Well nice, you going to paint it? I can't stand the color purple, is the only reason I ask. As for your engine well PAW, Summit, and Jeg's are the places to help with that you can also go strait to Ford but, it'll cost more. If you're really into doing this one up right buy some magizines the adds in most are a great place to find parts you'd normaly miss. Best of luck with your "toy" . Later

I ordered the spares through an import company locally..it`s a shop catering for V8`s...i think they order from `Mustangs Unlimited`..according to the sticker on the box..i don`t have the full address here at work, but i`ll get it for you tomorrow...

Thanx for the positive comments on my car.....wish i could be sweet sixteen again! The interiors(1st one ;red an white) and the latest was my own brainwaves......at the moment i`m busy replacing the american flag in the back with a carpet like thing with two embroidered horses and the word `Mustang` inbetween them.. the steering i bought locally....i hated that big original one....u can basically think any design for the inside if you really want..i just don`t like a plain design like an all black or all blue one like the originals..u gotta have another color in there to keep it looking ..variety is the spice of life`ALIVE`..otherwise it looks dull(is my opinion)..i`m a kind of guy who always strive for different looking stuff..don`t want my car to look like another car of the same make..must be diff....the brass horse in the engine bay was my own idea..cut it out with tin scissors an stuck it onto the chrome plate with steel putty..
