scannon's 1992 Mazda Miata
Several years ago I decided to respray the car. I removed everything from the engine compartment (except the two main wire harnesses, one brake line and the two A/C pipes). I did the same for the interior and trunk. I then had it resprayed in the original Sunburst Yellow with a clear coat. Paint was PPG's top of the line paint applied by Stoney of Studio 9000 in Arvada, Colorado.

The hardtop was not re-sprayed and the color match is excellent. It gets on the car for about two weeks a year. Makes the car seem very different, but there is so much good weather in the winter here that I just can't leave it on for long.

scannon's 1992 Mazda Miata I added some color to the interior with yellow door panels, shifter boot and padded arm rest.

scannon's 1992 Mazda Miata The vent rings say "At 15psi this ain't no chick car" and "Sit down, strap in, hang on & shut up". Thanks to the Knobmeister for the engraving!

Cheers for that. That is a pretty decent sized turbo! I was thinking of a 28 series BB turbo. I was hoping for 200rwkw out of the 1.6L, but I don't think that is going to happen reliably. So I will probably either stroke it, or get a blown 1.8L and rebuild that with a stroker kit. In which case I would probably go with a 30 series BB turbo. Cheers for the info.
Just to let you know I'm from Australia, across the other side of the world :D Thanks for the website too.

Cheers,

Kendall
