This is my 1997 Pontiac Firebird 3.8 V6 A4. It is used mostly for daily driving, but I also take it to the track every once in a while. Only performance mods right now are a SLP Cold Air Intake and a 2001 SS take-off exhaust (2.5" mandrel bent pipe), and most recently a Z28 take-off posi disc rear with 3.42 gears. My current fastest 1/4 time with it when I had a SLP CAI, SLP Loudmouth, and 3.08/open rear was a 15.941 @ 87.48mph, and my fastest 1/8 mile time with the same setup was a 9.979 @ 72.761 w/ a bogging tranny...which should translate to around a 15.5 in the 1/4. Hopefully with the smaller exhaust and the better gear I should be a little bit quicker, but we'll just have to wait and see. But anyways here are some pics of my ride...
