1969 Mustang Sportsroof

I bought the car when I was 19 and used it as a daily driver for 8 years. In 1997 I started repairing a lot of worn out parts and rebuilt the engine. Now 'a days it stays garaged and drive it on the weekends. Candyapple Red is the original color and black standard interior according to the data plate. It was built at the Metuchen, NJ factory with a 302, C-4 transmission, 8 inch 2.79:1 rear end and drum brakes.

I added the (dealer option) wheel well chrome trim.

This is the before and after shots of the front spoiler. Another dealer option.

Gotta be able to see the RPMs, so I installed the AutoGauge tach. In 2003 I re-upolstered seats, put in new carpet, headliner and replaced the dash.

Gotta love a red '69 fastback! Nice job, and I'm sure it's a blast to go cruisin' in! Come check out my restomod/open track Mach 1 sometime.
