1969 Mustang Sportsroof
I bought the car when I was 19 and used it as a daily driver for 8 years. In 1997 I started repairing a lot of worn out parts and rebuilt the engine. Now 'a days it stays garaged and drive it on the weekends. Candyapple Red is the original color and black standard interior according to the data plate. It was built at the Metuchen, NJ factory with a 302, C-4 transmission, 8 inch 2.79:1 rear end and drum brakes.


I added the (dealer option) wheel well chrome trim.

Gotta be able to see the RPMs, so I installed the AutoGauge tach. In 2003 I re-upolstered seats, put in new carpet, headliner and replaced the dash.

It's still the original block and heads. bored .030" over with Kieth Black pistions and heads were reworked. Edelbrock 600CFM carb, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock Performer cam, Crane Energy 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Petronix Ignition, Headman long tube headers and dual Flowmaster 40 Series exhaust.
