Porting Swirl Port TBI heads. This is a pair of 193s from a 350, but the 191s and 187s are similar. The 191 are from a heavy duty 350 and come with a 76 CC chamber. The 193s are from a Light duty 350 and come with a 64 CC chamber. The 187s come off of a 305 and have a 58 cc chamber. Both 350 heads have 1.94" intake valves and 1.5" exhaust valves. The 305 version uses a 1.84" intake valve and a 1.5" exhaust valve. The intake and exhaust ports are identical between all the heads.

See what happens when you have spare time, you start mocking stuff up. That is a 350 block, angle plug dart iron eagle 215s and stock GM cast iron manifolds. On top is a performer RPM by edelbrock, a Holley Projection Adapter, a cheap spectre chrome 14x 3 air cleaner, s spectre 1" plastic riser, and a Stock Van TBI unit. Guess what it fits. Maybe I should ditch the 305, build a 350, and use the cast iron manifolds. Actually I am doing about that, except toss in a 400 stroke crank.

well, well, well, where does one begin on such a awesome van, you really know your stuff. you must be a gearhead like me LOL. i don't think there is a word that is fitting for such a nice machine. to get more then 400hp at the wheels out of a 305cu in means the motor by itself must be close 500hp by itself, OUTSTANDING my hat is off to you. the 454cu in a van is way cool you'll be the ranks of the insane LOL, that what they sometime call me especially when i punch the throttle. i never knew tho that big block ever came in a van, but thanks to you i now know what van and year that they produced thanks for that. my front springs i think are starting to sag a bit on my van, being they are still stock and have had a big block siting on top of them, so at least now i know what to shop for. well my friend keep up the good work and the shine side up, i'll be checking back from time to time to see what you are doing. have a good one.

There is a lot of nice work you did on the engine! Check out my van - I only hope it turns out half as nice as yours. Chris, you should join the Vanner group, as I bet there's a lot of awesome tech stuff you could share, and I'm sure some benefit will roll your way as well. Check it out.
