I am an Chevy El Camino
I was born in 1967 in USA and now I am living in Germany / Europe.
My owner (Kai) bought me from an Volkswagen (Beetle) dealer on 1992 and since this time he restoring me.
since 2004 I can drive again.
The 12 restoring-years were very hard for me (...an my owner)..in my little garage.
12 jears because sometimes he had no money for restoring me and then he (ore his wife) become 2 childs and so he spend more time with them.

Yes, ist hard (not impossible to get parts for an american car.
For Engine Parts ist no prop. but body parts, chrome.... very hard (ore very expensive).
