Every GLHS was modified/race preped by Carroll Shelby's people at his Whittier, CA facility. Each car was given a special number (the Shelby number) identified on a dash plaque. This is #126, of the 500 1986 GLHS cars Shelby made. This car is not "just-some-stickers" car! It's a true American-made tuner car. I like to call the '86 GLHS the "Father of All Tuner Cars". The interior is unrestored (except for the headliner) and nearly perfect, incredible for a 20+ year old Omni. Large "GLHS Intercooled" decal was placed on driver's-side only quarter panel (gas filler door on passenger-side quarter prevented a decal on that side). Cast aluminum wheels, called Centurion I's, were special for this car. Shelby Automobiles, Inc. designed and manufactured these. The wheels were exclusive parts for the 1986 GLHS and Shelby never used them on any other car.

She's a beauty bro. One of(if not THE), nicest restorations I've seen EVER!!! Such perfect attention to details. That's the type of work I wish everyone did. The world would be a place full of beautiful vehicles then(lol). Take care of her man. She's a beauty! Later, Donnie
