This is a pic for helping others with their CDC side exhaust system installation...

Marvinmycat's 1998 Ford Mustang

The rod with the compression fitting will slip over the muffler exit tube AND the steel tip. Ensure that the bolt to tighten the compression rod points DOWN in order to clear the floor pan (the nut will be on the bottom). The rod end will face toward the outside of the car, and will attach to a small muffler hanger (provided) that is attached to a hole in your pinch weld via a nut/bolt/washers (provided). This effecvtively lets the entire cat-back system hang from the car. Remember to tap a hole in the exit tube where the stainless steel tips have a small hole drilled in them and drive a sheet metal screw through them to help keep the tip form rotating (not provded).

Nice Mustang, 5*. I'm in New York too. There's a lot of us in the area, we go on cruises, car shows, track rentals, and more. Check out NYMustangs.com , we also get discounts off parts and diff well known speed shops.

I'm a big fan of the side exhaust and may look to do that on mine should my exhaust rust through. I also like the calipers painted, looks good on the green car. Good luck with the rest of the mods!

I'll probably do that (breather idea). Thanks. Hey, just added 15 pics of my tuck on the 4 pages about it, lemme know what you think.

Nice stang, came across a thread with info on bypassing the PCV valve, I just bought a new breather and didn't want it gunked up, hopefully your bypass will work on an 88 Jimmy... check my ride out. I like your "bligage".
