So I finally recieved a settlement from my car accident last October $4650.00, although still no word on anything monetarily in regards to the theft.
PLEASE Take my new poll, and help me decide on my next vehicle. I do know I want a car. Something thats faster and gets better gas mileage.

Well I guess this is it, my final update. I have had a rough go of it this past year. Losing my cousin, getting hit by a drunk driver, and then having my truck stolen at gunpoint. Things cant get much worse.... Well as far as my truck goes, the insurance company has decided to total the vehicle out, so its a complete loss.... I will not be getting reimbursed for the majority of the things in my truck. As far as I know I will be getting money for, my wheels and tires, my CD player, all my CD's (roughly 150) and my Sony Clie that I used as a wallet, thats it..... To everyone that has been supportive of me through these trying times. "Thank You!" Your kind words have been encouraging to me. To all, I will be periodically checking my page so if you post anything I will reply, eventually.
God Bless,
Terrence

Well I have some updates for everyone. My vehicle was recovered Saturday night and this morning I finally recieved word of its location and recovery. Needless to say I wasnt expecting the best when I went to the tow yard. Below are a few pictures of what remains.

When all I said and done, even if the vehicle is repaired I intend on selling it.

Whats up everyone. I have bad news, last evenings events were of the Grand Theft Auto mold. I was leaving a local Arts festival held every first Friday of the month in downtown Phoenix, when my friend William and I were robbed at gunpoint as we were leaving the festival.
A nights events 1-7-05 11:00PM :
As my friend William and I were leaving the Festival, He noticed a few (3)mid-twenty year old Hispanic males standing around my vehicle. (NO I AM NOT RACIST, AND DONT INTEND ON LETTING THE MISTAKES OF A FEW CHANGE THAT) So when we were about 100 ft away he said chirp your alarm. So I did, the two that were standing near my truck proceeded to go to their vehicle. So I walk up to my truck, open the door and start to step in my truck. When you guessed it, a gun was stuck in my face. The guy started screaming "GIVE ME YOUR KEYS! GIVE ME YOUR KEYS! DONT MAKE ME F'IN KILL YOU RIGHT HERE! (The same thing was happening to Will on the passenger side of my truck they stole his wallet and his cell phone at gunpoint.) So I hand the guy the keys and tell him "its not worth it, the truck is yours and hand him the keys" He then tells me to give him my wallet, I said "its in the truck, its my Clie's case that I use as a wallet. All my money is in my ashtray." He then starts screaming "GET IN THE TRUCK!! GET IN THE F'IN TRUCK!! BOTH OF YOU GET IN THE F'IN TRUCK!!" So I tell Will "Just listen to them." This is when I really start freakin, so I moved the driver seat forward and look on the back seat. I see my Bible, something I have with me at all times. Even though I am completly terrified at this point just seeing it gave me a peace during this horrible situation..... As the driver side robber is screaming at me to get in the truck, he is also trying to start it. And it wont start! So he asks why it wont start. I say "ITS A STICK" He said you start it. So I put the seat back and started it for him. After I started it I hear his accomplice telling Will "RUN WHEN I TELL YOU TO!" I told the driver side robber "take the truck with everything in it, just let me have my Bible." I grab my Bible from the back and hold it close to my heart and he says "RUN!!" I took off like you wouldnt believe, only to fall when I was about 50 feet from the truck. I got up and continued running around the block to the crowds of people that had been gathered for the Art Festival so I could grab somebody to use thier cell phone to call the police. So I called the police, and then I called mom...... She was a little upset.
So what did I learn from this 3 hour old event???
1.) Dont park in a dirt, unlit parking lot regardless of how many people are within shouting distance....
2.) Dont wear sandles when there is rain in the forcast.... (My reason for falling)
3.) MOST IMPORTANTLY Know where your salvation lies.... (One word, JESUS)
I just thank God that I am still here, and if it wasnt for my friend Will being there I probably wouldnt be here now to write this... 2:21AM 1-8-05

If you look closely you can see my poor crossover exposed to the elements :(

The moral of these pictures is DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. The guy that hit me was more than 2 times the legal limit two and a half hours after he hit me, "he did not pass go, he went directly to jail!" Luckily neither myself or the drunk were severely injured. I suffered a minor neck and shoulder strain, he left the scene in the back of a cop car.
On a much more serious note I urge everyone to think and to drive more responsibly. Having tragically lost my 17 year old cousin to a car accident this past May 1, 2004. This incident serves as another reminder of how precious our time here is. If you speed, slow down, if you are impaired please use better judgement. Call a cab, call a friend, for your sake and the sake of others. Life can change in the blink of an eye.
I just thank God everyday in knowing she is much better off and through my love for Jesus Christ one day I will see my cousin again.
