My 1992 VW Cabriolet is my daily driver, I've kept the running gear relatively stock while adding Racing springs & struts which have lowered the vehicle 2" all the around, I'm running 18" Giovanna Corsica's shod with 215-40-18" Yoko's. I've had minor rear bodywork completed to clean-up the rear license plate area as well as a Zender front grille/headlight swap. The interior is tamely stock except for the SONY X-PLOD stereo system, where I've removed the center console Heater-A/C vents and replaced them with a SONY Electronic Equalizer that feeds 12 speakers, which include 2-15" Kicker subs in an enclosed box directly behind the rear seats. I have a SONY 10-Disc CD Changer mounted under the front passenger seat and my Bridged system is powered by two SONY X-PLOD amplifiers (a 800 Watt Amp. for the Subwoofers & a 600 Watt Amp. for the other component speakers) needless to say I don't hear to much road noise (or anything else) as I drive down the highway!
