You DON'T have to change the internals, unless you plan on going higher than 11psi of boost.

you'd need a stud girdle, depending on the psi. It's good for 300 hp +-, some people are running around with 400 hp on the 7.5" with the girdle! Good luck -Oh 5 stars, man! We sixers catch h*** from the tuners AND the v8 crowd!

I did some research on supercharging mine a while back. Never could save up enough to do it though, always saved in small amounts. I liked prochargers set up the best though for the 6. It puts out the most power at the lowest psi. It comes with an intercooler unlike other superchargers too so it runs cooler and is better for your engine. Like a few people said you do need to do some other modifications. Injectors, possibly internals, and the problem with the six, the rear end. If you drive your car too long and hard with that much power, you will blow your rear end. I just did it about 2 weeks ago. Unlike the cobra and the gt the 6's rear end is not made for high amounts of power and torgue. You may be able to get away with it for a little while but will eventually need to swap it out. Good luck with it and check my 01 out when you get a chance.
