In March of 2k4, I lost my allroad. It was a fine car, and will be missed. However, since it was under warranty, I wasn't really able to mess with it the way I wanted to. Having said as much to my wife a zillion times, she thought I should get something fun that I could work on, so I did. I found a 1990 Audi V8 with 250,000 miles that had just had most of the major services done. Because of the high miles, the price was only 3k.

Here's the beast:

The previous owner(s) took excellent care of the interior, and really quite good care of the auto in general. However, as it has been driven and loved, there were things needing to be done. I was lucky to be able to maintain the relationship with the master technician who had done the last fifty thousand miles worth of work.

basically it comes out the back door. You'll have to get the front seats out of the was as much as possible, but it can be done. Because of my garage arrangements I got it out the rear passenger side door, but I imagine either one will work.

Nice looking car you have!! 5 starts from me. Let me know how you pull out the headliner without taking the rear window because I used as temporary a can of 3m spray adhesive to hold on the saggy rear headliner but I want to replace it with a new one and since I'm on school vacations I have the time now. You should get some A8 19 inch wheels to make it look sporty like's Leo's '91 200 20vTQ. I opted for a set of 16 inch wheels from a '03 A6 for my '89 200 10v TQ because of the terrible pot holes here in Tijuana MX. I'll include new pictures next weekend of the new door panels from a V8 that I found to add a set of speakers in the front and back for a 8.1 speakers system. Check out my ride and let mw know what you think. David
