This is my racing Maverick that I run up at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. I have raced this car for 12 seasons. It was originally given to me for free, and it had a 6cyl engine in it. It also was a faded out gold color. As each year came and went, we upgraded it slowly from it starting out running a 14.30 at 96mph, to it running 12.75 at 109mph. The total cost for the upgrades is $15000.00!
The car now has a 302ci, with 11.1 compression, Isky cam 630lift 280 duration, headers, Victor Jr manifold, MSD ingintion system, 650 Holly carb, C4 Transmission, manual shift valve body, with a 3500 stall. 486 rearend gears, with a spool. Fuel used is 114 octane. Has no electronics, and runs by manual releases.
This car has seen some great victories as well. 1994 Bracket National Champion, 1996 All Ford Day Champion,It is the 1998 Street ET Champion, and various other event wins as well.
