a few photos of my beast. this is the fourth car i've owned. my previous were:
- 1989 Honda Accord EX-i 2-door (a great first car)
- 1995 VW Golf CL 4-door (a dog)
- 1987 Ford Falcon XF (a pure aussie beast)
so now the e30. this is a car that i've always wanted to own simply because of the looks - it's one of my favorite designs ever. so i was stoked to pick one up in good condition for less that $3000 CDN. it needs some work on the body and suspension but the engine is still sound after 200K.
i plan to do most (if not all) of the work on it myself. mostly because i'm on a budget but also because it should be fun. and i don't care if it takes 2 years to finish.
anyone that has driven e30 BMWs knows how rewarding a drive it is, so i won't go into how great a car this is. you already know.
meanwhile, i'm starting to look for a winter beater... or a daily driver. most likely, an early nineties civic.
