--Turbo System--

The fabrication took over four months to complete with the bulk of fabrication done by Sly at Pro-Car Engineering, who also continues to help with the tuning.

This is a good overview of the plumping for the system. I really like all the shiny stuff in the engine bay. The exhaust piping was jet coated and the aluminum intake piping was polished. As well as the AC unit.

The Passenger side header, note the orange rubber shield on the water hoses, this will be changed very soon due to melting, as we expected.

The driver side header. You can see some of the location and relocation we had to do to get this to work. Note, location of the wastegate and also the ignition coil plate being replaced with a piece of aluminum for deck clearance for the added height of the CUIs. Also see how the power stearing box was relocated to make room for all the plumbing.

Nice bird. the first time i looked under the hood of my v6 firebird i realized that there would be plenty of room in front of the engine for a turbo, but all of the plumbing looks pretty tight.
