romeo_bryce's 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

The Bimmer has sold!
Announcing my new Bone Stock 2000 year model Grand Prix GT. Let the fun and games begin.

Car's engin is almost completely stock except for a short ram intake modification. The new air breather makes the car quite loud, that being a good thing. It also improves gas milage. However, I am either going to fabricate or purchase a heat sheild to protect the throttle-body from the heat caused by the front exhaust-header crossover. The crossover runs less than two inches under the throttle-body. Eventually a full cold air system will be installed placing the air-filter inside the driver-side fender.

I did have to fabricate a braket out of aluminum in order to remount the PCM. Which, oddly enough, is contianed in the bottom of the factory airbox.

July 2nd, 2004 - I decided to add a rear sound stage for all those complaining passangers. I also ran 10 gauge wire directly to my headunit in order to stop under-powered issuses.
Nov 26th, 2004 - I just received and installed my new hifonics amplifier.
Nov 20th, 2004 - I have just very recently broken into car audio. Within the last two weeks I have framed out my car trunk for new amps and subwoofers.

Here is the unfinished sub box on its side. It will house a single twelve inch subwoofer in the bottom and two eight inch woofers in the top as shown installed in fig 1-1.

This is the empty trunk withcarpet removed and the parameter framed in with plywood.

Next is the amp rack itself. It is temporarily housing a single, dated alpine amplifier soon to be replaced with a Hifonics Warrior Eagle and a Hifonics Mono Block amplifier.
