October 28, 2004: So I was leaving John Carroll University Thursday after class about 2 in the afternoon (i commute) and I'm on the highway. Out of the corner of my eye I see something unusual in my rearview mirrow. I see police lights atop this older car... at first I'm thinking cop, but as the car gains a little in the lane left of me (i'm in the middle lane) I notice the lights aren't regular... it's either a tenable or security car...no big deal. Well, out of no where the car speeds up significantly (I was doing 70, so you can imagine how hard he hit the gas) and the car moves to the side of me. Sure enough as I thought, it was security (Gray Security, to be exact). The driver was a 20s something guy with a cell phone held to his shoulder...he motioned for me to roll down my window. At this point I'm like now what did I do? But anyways, I roll down my window. He says something, which gets lost in the wind. I point to my ear letting him know I can't hear him. Then he says it again - as I beamed proudly - "Hey, you wanna sell that car?" At first I breathed kind of a sigh of relief, knowing I was in the clear, out of present danger. I smiled and yelled back "Naww" and he nodded as if to say "Yeah, I know. I wouldn't either.". He then sped up and went on his merry way. Afterwards as I thought about it, I tried piecing together the series of events. It seems he called someone, probably a buddy, looking to buy a Mustang. After asking me he looked to say "no go" when he got back on his cell. I can't tell you how great a feeling I got when I heard that question. It was like a confirmation of all the hard work, time, and money I had put into this project. In a moment everything seemed to click, and it had confirmed what I knew back when I started this venture. This is my car. I will continue to upgrade, customize, and modify it as I see fit. And I will show it off proudly. Am I crazy? Am I just too diehard to make sense? Well I pose one question to all you Mustang lovers, fanatics, and car enthusiasts in general: Have you driven a Mustang lately?

...and another thing. I went to Lubestop for my 2nd oil change. The guys asked me how I was likin the car and I got to tellin them about the engine swap...and I let them know one of their employees (who let owned a stang himself) said that my subframe wouldn't handle any more torque because it was rotted. Well, it just so happens that "there are ways of getting around that" one of the guys said. "It's your car. Do what you want with it." Well said. Anything can happen....
until next time,
keep spending those g's on the hp's

UPDATE! JUST ADDED! July 7, 2004 I had a Remote Starter w/ Door Lock Unlock / Lock and Alarm and 94-03 pony emblems...I went to Lubestop the other day to get my oil changed and the guy showed me my undercarriage...my subframe is totally rotting away, so there is no way i can get a 5.0 engine swap, which sucks but at least i know that now before i saved up the money. My two biggest mods left are the svo hood (300ish) and the tires/rims (1100ish). After that, I'll do the little aftermarket stuff I have listed below and start saving up for a 93 5.0 or a 95 5.0...whichever...however I would like a newer stang. Anyone selling? haha take care...oh yeah, the pics of the emblems will be up tomorrow / the day after...i really can't show you the starter / alarm so i guess i'll post a pic of the remote keys lol...later on

Everyone listen up. I bought this car in April 2004 and it was Coral Reef Blue. It's a 1993 Ford Mustang LX. It had minor rust around the fenders and wheel wells as well as a few dents. All brakes, tires, rotors, radiator, etc. was replaced. Everything and anything that could go after 11 years of wear and tear has been replaced. A week later it was painted black and clear coated.
