pr0craztinazn's 1987 Toyota Corollai don't really have plans for this car, interior wise. i've installed a mp3/cd/am/fm headunit from qwestar, and it's ok. for a $35 headunit, it has front and rear rca pre-outs (brown are for the front, grey are for the rear), plays mp3s, has a removable face plate, and has a remote (which i never use). it replaced the stock stereo, which was not functional when i got the sr5. since i cannot find any info online about my headunit anymore, here's some specs from the manual:

qwestar qccd790 specifications:
general
- power supply requirements: dc 12 volts, negative ground
- chassis dimensions: 178mm(w) x 160mm(d) x 50mm(h)
- tone controls:
bass (@ 100Hz): +- 10dB
treble (@ 10kHz): +-10dB
- rms wattage: 4 channel x 26 watts (measured using KHz signal, w/supply voltage of 14.4 vdc, 10% thd, under a 4-ohm load per channel)
- current drain: 15 ampere (max.)
cd player
- signal to noise ratio: more than 55dB
- channel separation: more than 55dB
- frequency response: 40Hz - 18KHz
radio
- FM
frequency coverage: 87.9 to 107.9MHz
if: 10.7MHz
sensitivity (s/n = 30dB): 4μV
stereo separation: >25dB
- AM
frequency coverage: 530 to 1710KHz
if: 450KHz
sensitivity(s/n = 20dB): 36dBu

hey im just guessing but i think that white box on your speakers is actually a mini cap, so they can keep a constant voltage going to them, kinda pointless for a little speaker like that unless they are components. Otherise nice corolla, do a 20v blacktop lol thats my goal to drop into mine someday.
