This is my on going project, my 1967 Galaxie 500 Two Door HardtopI bought it in pieces. The motor was out. She looked sad.It all went together pretty easy. We used the factory 289 stands.The original 289 was gone and the guy I got it from had a 351 Clevland to put in it's place.I decided that if I didn't have the factory 289 I would stuff a 460 in its place.And it is a real nice fit.This is not a bad car to start with, It just needs some minor work.I have factory buckets, but I think I'll leave the bench seat for now.This is just a stock 460 I am using for set up. I plan to build a 514. I got every thing in and running by my dead line of July 4th. I even finished a day early.It ran great, but had a small knock that came and went.I bought this motor from a friend. He went through it. Did a good job except.....He didnt tighten up the oil pump. Guess what! It fell off. from 60 psi to 0 in no time.I had 50 miles on it and had to pull it back apart. Pretty much ruined a new crank.

hey man looks great. I got a 67 just like it tat im planing on puting a 460 in and as soon as i get out of school i get my dads 67 to. how hard was it to get that 460 n there?

Hey I like the 460, Almost put the 460 crate motor in my 71 Torino. Glad I didn't, can't get much traction as it is. I was rised just south of you in Springfield. I see you like road racing. I cut my teeth on the twistys in your area. I just bought a new 350Z and plan a trip to run the Tail of the dragon or Deals gap. Over 200 turns in like 11 miles. If you don't know about it, check it out on the net. Take a look at my 71 Torino and drop a line.
