Having owned a 1977 LX Hatch back Torana in 1990, I decided this time around to go for the "little" Torana, the LJ model. This was the last of the small bodied Torana's and due to it's age is becoming a bit of a collectors item. A pocket rocket is the most common description for them. The 2 door GTR XU-1 being #1 in most collectors eyes. Mine started life as a 4 door SL model (SL being a "luxury" version, lol)
Since then it's had a motor, gearbox & paint/panel change. I have recently put triple 1.75" SU carbies on her. As anyone will tell you, tuning them is a bitch but when they're working it's damn awesome :)
