Hot Rod Power Tour ( x5 ) , Woodward Dream Cruise , King of the Hill Challenge , burnout competition and drag racing from PEI to Pheonix . this car has done it all . I've owned this car for 18 years and the car was completely redone in late 2002 - 2003 . It's powered by a new 454 c.i. BB Chevrolet , Weiand action series intake and topped off with a 780 cfm modified Holley carb , The ignition is handled by an HEI Accel super coil and cap + plug wires . There's a chrome alternator , high torque mini-starter , Corvette aluminum water pump , headers , Hays S/S flywheel , Hays clutch and pressure plate assembly and a 12 bolt possi rearend . The complete suspension has been beefed up with bolt on frame connectors ,Cal-trac bars , racing rear multi-leaf springs , chopped front coils and aluminum body mounts . The body has a custom made front and rear spoiler and a 4" fiberglass cowl induction style hood . This is just a sample of modifications made throughout this car . Believe me , pictures do not do this car justice . My 71 Nova interior consists of 2 RCI racing seats with custom made seat covers by Parker's Upholstery in Port Perry On. The headliner , sunvisors , sail panels , rear area and trunk are all matching material . there's a 6 point rollbar , a Hurst Street/ Strip 4 speed competition shifter , autometer tach and gages, an XM satellite stereo 4 point race harnesses and custom interior lighting . Thanks to : Everyone who helped make this car what it is to-day , special thanks to : Impact Auto Parts -Uxbridge for paint , materials , and engine parts . Greg for bodywork and paint , Parker's Upholstery for spending lots of time in the final stages to finish this car at -25 degrees in my old garage . This was in preparation for March 2003 Performance World Car Show . the car has been apart a few more times since then to perfect it just a bit more each time . Universal Spinners - Mike Gentile in Scarborough who makes custom built air cleaners and overflow cans , Show Cars for the fiberglass hood , Custom Auto Sound in California for the custom speakers in the kick panels and extra speakers in the rear . This car is always open for new sponsorship . A great place to display any hot new products. Like a rolling ad on wheels. Future considerations are a handling package upgrade , 4 wheel disc brake setup , 17" wheels and nice GM BB crate engine would be awesome . This machine needs a super stereo to hear over the thundering noise made by the exhaust system . I build them to drive ! New sponsors always welcome : email me at petesnova@yahoo.com
