Very Bad News!!!
Well while going to get the wing on. We started to hear a knocking noise. We pulled over to a Quicktrip and checked the oil. It was gone!!! So we bought 3quarts of oil. And 1 quart of Automatic Transmission Fluid. Because we wanted to see the car smoke.
Well while going down the road the noises got worse and more mysterious. We had to go about 15miles to get back to my house. When we got to my town it started to get worse. I had smittie1984 follow me home incase the motor blew. About 5 miles later it started smoking bad. And we lost power. We also heard a small boom and saw parts flying back at smittie1984's truck. Luckily it didn't hit it. He didn't even see it because of all the smoke. And he was back about 50 yards.
When we stopped I had to put it in neutral and rev it up all the way and slam it into drive to get enough power to move. We finaly got it home it was smoking bad.
When we lifted the hood we were flabergasted! WE could see the cam and we blew a whole in the transmission. We could read some numbers on the TQ converter.
We were still curious about it so we turned the car back on with the hood up. I floored it hopping to hear a loud explosion. Oil was pouring everywhere. My driveway looked like an oil tanker spill. And then it shut off. We started laughing and then we saw Flames. We ran looking for some buckets but it burned it's self out.
We don't know what we are going to do next. If we can find a cheap motor and tranny we will continue with the NOPI project. But for now we aren't sure.
We'll let you know what we do next and if we move onto a new project.
But K Tuner for Life!
This is my 1988 Dodge Aries. AKA the K-Series
It belonged to my Grandma. I had a Toyota Tacoma jacked up and all. But it got into a big wreck and it isn't working right. So my Grandma got a new car and she let me have this.
So because it's such a POS we are going to "PIMP MY RIDE". My goal along with my buddies smittie1984 and nickerdodgesxt/nickerjeep are to make it the biggest Nopied Out Car ever. And we are building everything on it custom. From the hood scoop all the way to the spoiler and even the brightest neon paint we can get.
It's going to take it a little bit but We'll get it nopied out and it will be the Biggest Pimped Out Nopi Car ever!
This is the soon to be Super Nopi Machine. By the time we are done you won't even think it is a K-Series
New exhaust tip I just got for $8
Installing it infront of Advanced Auto Parts in Loganville
Oh Yeah! It's almost Time for Nopi!!!
Coming back from the Dragraces (we did not enter). We decided to do a speed run
We thought it was Buried but we were wrong!
This is buried. We had a buddy behind us in a civic and he said we were running 110 and we were going a little faster so we think about 115mph!!!
This is the Mad Man B Mak A Lane aka Brian Mclane
