The body work has been finished! Didn't get painted in time for the 2005 Spring Daytona show, but we did get it done in time for the 2005 GOFASST Turkey Rod Run protest cruise. They don't let us new cars in.
This is Phil, before he really understood what he was getting into!

Special thanks to Phil for setting it up with his brother, Randy. And HUGE thanks to Randy for his steady hand with the welder and paint gun. Monster thanks to my wife, Becky, for putting up with my car habit and just being supportive.
2005 Cobalt SS emblems. And because of the backorder on this part at the time, I think I am the first to do this to a fifth gen B-Body!
The Biscayne SS emblems were custom made for me by a friend with a laser cutting machine. I think they came out great! Some have asked why I didn't leave the SS on the side scripts like the Impala SS. I decided to delete the SS from the quarter panel because most Super Sport cars have an SS on the front fender somewhere and the name of the car on the rear. Only rarely are they together.
