The old motor, a mighty 305 ci LO3 small block

We used a friend's block to determine the location of the passenger side motor mount. We tack welded it in and then took the block out. Thanks Howard!

These are the relocated motor mounts and the dent required to clear the AC compressor.

To accomodate the 94-96 Impala crossmember (that in turn accomodates the dual exhaust) we had to add an extension to the frame mounts. The two holes on the left are the new ones.

The swap!
This was more work that it looked like before I started. More along the lines of swapping out a 250 Inline 6 and putting in a big block! The cruise works, and the power steering works! The A/C doesn't work. I got cheap and used a junk yard compressor that clogged the entire system. I'm looking at replacing every thing! Oh well.
