V8StangIIs 1977 Ford Mustang This is my first car, the lightest of the mustang family and home to a rebuilt 5.0

This page was made so that somebody can easily follow the restoration of this car along every step. I'll try to update this page as often as I can.

The plans for it include removing all the rust, getting new suspension, dual exhaust, a hood scoop like on a Boss 429, new paint, new lines and brakes, and a new intake a 4 barrel carb.

Now I'm waiting for some lazy guy to come sandblast my car so I can start putting her back together, I hate relying on other people :P The Picture below is of the temporary sandblasting cabinet I put up a while ago. My garage has been renovated in the meantime too you might have noticed!

Okay, The sandblaster came now, so the project continues. The Cabinet has been taken down, the garage was cleaned out for 2 straight days to get the dust out, and the trunk painted black, and the undercarriage undercoated (I'm still covered in tar over a week later). Now I need some new stainless steel fuel and brake lines and I can start rebuilding the beast!
