My car is an 1989 2.5l turbo Dodge Shadow ES that I purchased in the spring of 2001 with all stock coponents and some front end damage for $1650 CAN. I replaced my prefectly working 1991 Dodge shadow and haven't regreted it once. Once you go forced induction there's no turning back.
Within 2 months I spun a rod bearing and then a year later I replace a cracked head. At the same time I had some mild port work done on the exhaust and back cut the valves. I also upgrade to a T3 Garrett turbocharger with a 2.5" swingvalve and intercooler from a Daytona Shelby. That winter I replaced the clutch with a Centerforce dual friction. Bad choice. The clutch started slipping within half a year. This past winter I installed a 225 lph Walbro fuel pump. Currently the car has the engine, tranny and other mods as seen in these pages. On May 07/2006 the car dyno 260hp with 319ft/lbs at the wheels on a 4th gear pass adn 21psi. The A/Fs were around 9.5:1 by the time it got to 6000RPM so there is definately room to grow.
To start, here are the torque and horsepower curves from may 07/06 The thre curves are from 13, 17, and 21 psi pulls.
The car. The exterior is a little rough but that will come after the engine.

Hand polished pumpers. They're not perfect but after 8 hours each I thought they were good enough.
