BTW, its not the first SRT-4 strat everlol and no the engines were not created in Mexico, but yes they are only available in Mexico (the Turbo Strat R/T's). the SRT engine is now used in the 08 Colbolts, and is of course upgraded from the previous version. In America, Dodge tends to put turbos on 4 door sedans and SUV's for some reason, stupid...Anyway on to my question:I was actually considering an SRT engine swap a while back on my 03 Strat SXT and decided to do a search on here to see if anyone else had made an attempt. I know of only a few others that have tried, but they have alwasy used the 90's strats. I realize that it isnt the same body style as your 1st gen, but it should only be easier to fit the engine in a bigger space. Esspecially like the guy above me said, Strats with the SRT turbo do exist, but they are R/T's that are only availabe in Mexico....early 2000 body style anyway, not the 03 and up like i have...Questions:How much did the engine end up costing alltogetherHow long and how much was put into labor to swap the engineWhat else is needed besides all the stock coponents from an SRT engineWHERE DO I START?.....

If you need an A pillar, one from a 94 mustange will fit with a little modification. Sweet swap too by the way, but you should of checked out Dreamspeed 1st with a turbo setup prolly coulda saved you some money, Still awsome though. Check out my Stratus if you get a chance.
