Hi, this is my 85 Toyota Cressida with a 1JZ twin turbo engine swap in the process. For now this page is going to be fairly blank, when I have more time I will post more info and pics about the conversion.
Current mods are Simota short style air pod, 3" hi-flow exhaust and custom FMIC

Im not going to have many gauges, except for my 3 little 2" ones mounted under my CD player in the second DIN slot. I want to keep it as a sleeper :-D

I know it doesnt look pretty now lol, but once school is finished I will have it back to reasonable standard.

Hi 85 Cressida, the conversion itself isn't hard. Mechanically everything bolts in and isn't a worry but the wiring is the hardest part. By FAR the easiest option is to buy a JZX81 halfcut that gives you everything and also you can trace wires back alot easiesr. That was the option i wanted to take but in the end for some strange and unexplained reason I got sent just an engine and trans combo, no loom or ECU, VERY frustrating :( Without a matching loom you will soon learn there are over 8 variants of the 1JZ loom. Ball park figure I would say $4-5k AUS depending on how much of the work you can do yourself. My figure there includes $3500 for the half cut and $1500 to pay someone to wire it up. My setup has changed alot though in the past year so I will post up some updated pics. 2 key things, its now Purple and puts out over 600rwhp :p
