The Car recently placed 1st in the Great Lakes Classic AMC Club Annual Meet in August 2003. The Car now has an Edlebrock AVS Thunder 800 CFM carb,Edelbrock Air-Gap Intake, Manifold, Hooker Cerami-Coated Headers with 3" collectors through a precisely placed X-Pipe. Exhaust travels to 3 Chamber Delta-Flow Flowmasters exiting just in front of the rear axle with turndowns angled 45' to promote scavenging and decrease resonance inside the car, ALL in 3" mandrel bent pipe. The sound is great. The power is strong from 1500 through redline. An MSD Digital 6 box with MSD billet Distributor and Coil feed spark thru MSD 8.5 mm wires. Throttle response,MPG,and Starting is like nite and day compared to old stock setup.
