Hi this is my progress page for my 1998 Subaru Impreza L ... I've been wanting this car forever now so I'm glad that I've finally found one and that its mine.

Ok well this is my car pretty much stock nothing has ever been done to it ... but it is used so it does need a little fix up work first.So since im starting college right now im also on a low budget so i guess this will be a long project.

Wow so I guess it's been a while since I've updated this site and the car does not look much more different then the pics I still have but the engine is still a little dirty to where I don't want to post pics on it really but I have cleaned the brakes like I wanted and I have tons of pics of that day but I havent developed the pics so I guess it won't be up for a while.

The brake job was fun getting to put it on the lift and use the air guns and paint room to do the brakes.

Good News I have rims now ... they are Motegi MR7's in gunmetal ... they are way better than my stock hubcaps and I like em ... anyways you can see the difference yourself here

I like em a lot but they are only daily driver rims with some all season tires wrapped on them. I've been going to my local autocross events learning as much as I can about the sport so that I can be ready when I hopefully start doing this myself by the end of next summer.

So I'm going to start a new list on this site that will show what my plans are for this car now.

1. Get some competition lightweight rims with some competition tires on them.
2. Manual transmission transplant been researching it for over a month now and I will not be doing this myself and it will take me a while to get the money for this job
3. Coilovers are a bit much when it comes to price but eventually the car would have to be upgraded to them so I want to do it sooner then later.
4. Motor swap ... don't know which motor yet since prices on them will drop by the time I'm looking to purchase one.
5. maybe some dress up by then but who really knows??
