Looks like your restoration is moving right along. That's gonna be soo nice when you're done. I'd give you input on what I think you should paint it, but I don't think I can decide. Any of what you had listed would look great. I guess it all depends on what look you're going for. I'm sure it will look great no matter what you pick. Keep up the good work. Check out my site sometime...I'm hoping to add picks of my friends' VWs sometime soon. Later.

Glad to see the pics of your project ghia, you sure have a lot of work but to the end I can tell it's going to look great. I've always like seeing the ghia's in the Tangerine, black is nice too, but only certain sprayers can really spray black real good. I really don't like the two tone for ghia's. The tire sizes sounds good, I also like the other pics of the ghia you have on your page, they are very low. That wouldn't work well here the in the Virgin Islands. Well keep up the hard but fun work and keep me posted. So after the body work and spray what will be your next step?

Awesome! Good luck with the project, it gets real tough to finish the whole thing. It's worth it in the end though.

I like it. better metal to start with then I got. I never gave these a thought till a friend took me to look at a bug, this guy had like 30-50 VWs for sale. The Ghia sparked my interest but, alas I can't find the place it was out in the middle of nowhere, which is how he got away with having all of them just sitting around. And my friend moved, he sucks at giving directions. O'well, I've got three cars and an S 15 right now, and the truck and '69 Chevelle are "projects" so, I couldn't pick one up now anyhow. Best of luck with it. Are you planning a hopped up bug motor or like a Corvair engine? That was my plan sort of, Corvair 140 turbo bolted to a F-28 gear box .check out mine if Ya like. Later
